One of the highlights of my visit to Oslo was going to the top of the Holmenkollen ski jump, site for the ski jumping competition in the 1952 Winter Olympics. This structure actually no longer exists – it was demolished in 2008 (after my visit) and rebuilt.
Oh, the old Holmenkollen. Makes me a bit nostalgic. Although the new one looks very cool 🙂
