I think I got a bit smile on my face when I first walked by this fountain in Baku‘s Fountains Square – it immediately reminded me of the famous Cloud Gate sculpture in Chicago’s Millennium Park. Unfortunately, I was unable to track down the name (if any) of this work of art or the name of the person who designed it.

The steel balls actually remind me of the Atomium in Brussels too.
Water, steel balls, blue sky, trees and one human figure on the backstage….based on Ray Bradbury.

Thank you.
Who is the designer, unfortunately impossible to know.
Designed everything in the Soviet era, when it was in vogue for “a creation by the great Soviet people”))))
