Autumn in St Petersburg

After spending five weeks in St Petersburg from mid-September to mid-October, I have a hard time imagining a more beautiful place in the autumn.  Even on the cloudy days, I was a bit enchanted. So I thought I’d share a few of my favorite pictures from autumn in St Petersburg:

  1. Ahhh!!! I’m so jealous. I thought I’d have the chance to finally visit St Petersburg this winter but my plans just changed 🙁

After seeing these photos, though, I’m completely jealous! St Petersburg has been on my list to visit for years – hopefully sometime soon!

  2. You had me at “Autumn”! I just spent the weekend traveling around northern California checking out the Fall foliage in northern California. I took over 300 photos and just wrote two posts sharing my photos of the Fall colors.

I love your photos! You have convinced me that I need to go to Europe in the Fall. I think I would love it there – St Petersburg is beautiful!

    1. Thanks Jeremy! Yeah, I couldn’t get enough of taking pictures – it was hard to narrow down which ones to include!

  3. Hi Katie,

What gorgeous photos! I’ve always imagined St. Petersburg as a summer destination, but you’ve shown otherwise. The leaves make everything else pop. Awesome.

    1. Thanks Kelsey! I loved the leaves changing colors – the first week of October was probably the best for that!
