I had been hiking for nearly six hours in blow freezing temperatures in the Stolby Nature Reserve outside of Krasnoyarsk, Russia, when I spotted this guy. It was getting to be too cold for me, but apparently it wasn’t too cold for him!

That’s the coolet looking squirrel I have ever seen with is rust colored tail and ears!
Oh my gosh, what a cute squirrel! I love the orange coloring on it and its ears look extra fluffy. Maybe to protect them from the wind?

Awesome. I like squirrels and that is a really unique coloring. Wonder if he changes in the summer. I need him on a t-shirt maybe?
