After spending five weeks in St. Petersburg last September and October, I firmly believe that autumn is one of the most beautiful times of year to visit this historic Russian city. With the leaves changing colors and falling throughout St. Petersburg’s many parks, scenes like this were typical most weekend afternoons.

The change of season is something I really missed while living in the desert for 11 years. And it is a very beautiful time of year in Europe. I haven’t been to Russia yet but definitely want to go. We’re hoping to go in 2013!
